How To Use The Spin The Wheel Tool
You do not need an account or any setup. Add your choices, spin, and use the result. The wheel updates as you type, so changing the list takes only a few seconds.
Add your choices
Enter one option per line in the Your Entries box. These can be names, foods, activities, numbers, tasks, teams, destinations, or anything else you want the random wheel to choose between.
Organize or customize the wheel
Shuffle the entries, sort them A–Z, change the wheel theme, or switch sound and confetti on or off. The wheel redraws automatically whenever the list changes.
Press Spin
The winner is selected randomly before the animation begins. The wheel then rotates and stops on that selected slice, so the animation shows the result rather than deciding it.
Keep, remove, or spin again
Use Spin Again for another pick, or Remove Winner when you do not want the same entry selected again. Recent winners stay in the history below the wheel until you clear them.
What Can You Use This Random Wheel For?

Use The Wheel As A Random Name Picker
The simplest use is also one of the most useful. Paste a list of names into the entry box, one person per line, and the same wheel becomes a random name picker. There is no separate setup and no need to number the participants first.
If you are choosing several people, press Remove Winner after each result. That removes only the selected entry and redraws the wheel with everyone else still available. The winner remains in Recent Results, so you have a running record of the order in which people were picked.
Duplicate entries are allowed. That is intentional. Each line occupies its own place on the wheel, so entering the same name twice gives that name two chances to be selected. If everyone should have equal odds, enter each participant exactly once.
Turn It Into A Decision Wheel
Not every spin needs a winner. Sometimes you just need an answer. Replace the sample entries with the options you are deciding between and use the wheel as a random decision maker.
A Yes or No wheel takes two lines. A restaurant picker might have six. A weekend decision wheel could contain hiking, cinema, gaming night, dinner out, or staying home. The tool does not care what the entries mean, which is why the same wheel works for both serious group choices and tiny everyday decisions.
Quick tip: only add choices you would genuinely accept. A random wheel is good at breaking a tie, but it cannot rescue a list filled with options nobody actually wants.
How The Wheel Picks A Random Winner
The visible spin is not used to invent a winner at the last second. When you press Spin, the tool first chooses one of the current entry positions using the browser's secure random-number generator. It then calculates where that selected slice sits and animates the wheel to land inside it.
This separation matters because the animation is only presentation. A longer-looking spin, a different theme, confetti, sound, or the current rotation of the wheel does not give one entry an advantage over another.

The wheel supports from 2 up to 500 valid entries. With very large lists, the slices become too small for every label to remain readable on the wheel, but the entries can still be selected and the full winner name is shown in the result.
Does the wheel save my entries?
The tool can save your entries, selected theme, sound and confetti preferences, and recent winner history locally in your browser. That lets the wheel return after a normal refresh on the same device and browser.
Can I share my wheel with someone else?
